How Sensory Dogs Began

Sensory Dogs Ltd was born from the understanding that not all dogs experience the world with ease. The world is often too loud, too busy, and too unpredictable for many dogs, especially those who are anxious, reactive or overwhelmed. Everyday environments can feel unpredictable and stressful.

As experienced dog specialists, we saw the need for a space where these dogs could feel safe, supported, and in control.

We created bespoke indoor sensory rooms designed to offer calm, structured enrichment. Through carefully curated experiences and guardian-led sessions, dogs are given the opportunity to explore at their own pace and gradually build confidence in a way that feels right for them.

Our Values

Kindness

We approach every dog and guardian with genuine warmth and empathy, ensuring a soft start for everyone.

Consent-based Handling

We listen to the dogs. We move at their pace and respect their choice to engage or step back.

Science-led Enrichment

Our methods are rooted in canine science, focusing on natural behaviours and sensory health.

No-judgement Support

We provide a clinical-free, supportive zone where every guardian feels heard and supported without judgement.
